The haberdashers’ craft in Sarajevo

Abstract

The paper sets out the historical development of the haberdashers’ craft in Sarajevo. Separate sections describe  the way haberdashery articles were made, the tools used  in the process, the materials used, and the types of haberdashery articles produced. It also deals with how the craft was learned and with women haberdashers, and concludes with a list of names of haberdashers in the  early 20th century.
