Abstract
A detailed study of aquatic macrophytes in the area of Nature Park Hutovo Blato was made during the vegetation seasons from 1998 to 2020. In total, 172 plant taxa from 44 families were presented in the list, out of which 16 are newly discovered, where the presence of 10 previously reported taxa was not confirmed. The families with the highest number of taxa were Cyperaceae with 26 taxa (15.12%), followed by Poaceae (15 taxa, 8.82%). The predominant life forms are euochthophytes and uliginosophytes with 30 and 28 taxa respectively (17.44% and 16.28%). The chorological spectrum shows a strong prevalence of widespread plants (63 taxa; 36.63%).
