Sažetak
Herbarium Types represents the greatest value of the scientific collection of the Herbarium of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina (SARA); it is represented by a total of 383 type specimens collected in the period from 1868 to 2012. The types are classified into 37 families, 107 genera, 248 species, 122 subspecies, 190 varieties, 86 forms and 5 hybrids. There are 284 holotypes, 15 isotypes, 41 syntypes, 8 topotypes, 1 neotype, as well as 34 types for which categories have not yet been determined. The types were mostly collected in Bosnia and Herzegovina (342), followed by Croatia (19), Montenegro (12), North Macedonia (5), Kosovo (2), Serbia (2) and Austria (1). Families with the highest number of type specimens include Compositae, Lamiaceae, Salicaceae, Rosaceae, Fabaceae, Caryophyllaceae, Apiaceae, Campanulaceae and Rubiaceae. The genera with the highest representation in descending order are: Hieracium L., Stachys L., Populus L., Rosa L., Ulmus L., Satureja L., Campanula L. and Asperula L. The Herbarium of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina (SARA) has type specimens from the historically important collections of O. Blau, G. Beck, E. Brandis, F. Fiala and K. Malý. The collectors with the largest number of type specimens are K. Malý, K. Malý & K.H. Zanh, N. Janjić, Č. Šilić, G. Beck, F. Fiala and O. Reiser.
