Roman Republican denarii foundon Mtn. Lib in the Duvno polje

Abstract

This paper presents a collection of 33 Roman Republican denarii minted between 116 and 31 BCE, all chance surface finds on the slopes of Mtn. Lib in the Duvno polje. The paper sets out all known sites of Roman republican coins in the Duvno polje, along with new information on numismatic finds and their sites. In additionto their importance for the numismatic topography of the Duvno polje, the paper also sets out new findings on the circulation of Roman Republican currency in Delmatae territory.
