Barice – settlement, Bosanska Gradiška region

Abstract

The paper sets out the principal findings of investigations of the settlement at the single-stratum Bronze Age site of Barice near Bosanska Gradiška. The analysis of the pottery material, associated mainly with the Middle Bronze Age and to a lesser extent with the Early Bronze Age, together with the dates produced by Carbon-14 analysis, suggest that this was a long-lasting settlement, probably belonging to the Barice-Gređani culture.
