Abstract
The paper sets out the results of the investigations of three Bronze Age tumuli at a site of the Barice-Gređani cultural group known as Dejanovića humke on the outskirts of the settlement of Sječkovo near Bosanska Gradiška. The excavation of tumulus 1 uncovered 69 burials (incinerated bones covered by a vessel or lid) falling into two chronological phases; in tumulus 2, eight vessels were found, some of which were cenotaphs or grave goods. The numerous bronze artefacts found in the graves suggest that tumulus 1 was used for burials from Bronze Age C to HaA1 in Reinecke’s classification.
