The hellenistic urban complex at Gradina in Ošanići nr. Stolac

Abstract

Over the past three years, as part of a National Museum of BiH project entitled “The Hellenistic
urban complex at Gradina (hill fort) in Ošanići nr. Stolac,” work has been on-going to protect the archaeological site with a view to drawing up a conservation study. The approach to this issue involvesan overview of the preservation works carried out on the site, which have been conducted in tandem with archaeological investigations. In the light of the investigations to date, future investigations will be designed to provide the best possible conservation as part of the preservation and presentation of this unique urban complex.
